You choose the cuts. Steaks are cut 1 in thick. ground beef is in 2 lb pkgs .Half beef averages 400lb hanging. Price is $7.05/lb. This includes cut and wrap. Approximate price is $2,820
 
Our beef is raised here on the farm from birth to slaughter. They are with thier mamas on pasture all summer and weaned in the fall and fed silage. ( A mixture of chopped, grass, oats, peas and barley. ) For finishing they get the silage with some grain to give the meat marbeling for delicious meals.
 
We do not give hormones or vaccines to our cattle, and antibiotics only in an emergency. Our goal is to keep them healthy from birth to slaughter.
